Echidna Equity Cashback & Donation Promotion – Terms & Conditions

1. Eligibility

  • This promotion is available to clients who successfully settle their loan through Echidna Equity.

  • Eligibility is determined based on the type, amount, and structure of the loan applied for and approved.

  • Only new applications submitted during the promotional period are eligible for the cashback or donation offer.

  • The promotion is not applicable to personal loans, credit card refinancing, or other non-mortgage products.

  • Clients who have previously received a cashback or donation offer from Echidna Equity or its affiliates are not eligible.

2. Cashback Offer

  • Clients may receive up to $2,000 cashback.

  • The exact amount is determined by:
    a) The total loan amount.
    b) The type of loan (e.g., owner-occupied, investment property).

  • The cashback amount will be communicated upon loan approval and settlement.

  • Cashback will be disbursed within 60 days of loan settlement directly into the client’s nominated account.

  • Echidna Equity will absorb reasonable lender setup costs and government fees where applicable; however, if loan structures include multiple small loans or unusually high costs that exceed standard expectations, Echidna Equity reserves the right to adjust or cap the cashback so that the promotion does not result in a net financial loss.

3. Donation Option (AWC Partnership)

  • In lieu of cashback, clients may choose to have Echidna Equity donate 25% of its upfront commission (after fees, including set-up costs absorbed by Echidna Equity) to the Australian Wildlife Conservancy (AWC).

  • Donations will be made within 90 days of settlement.

  • Echidna Equity also donates a portion of its annual profits to AWC, ensuring that clients’ loans continue to contribute to wildlife protection over time.

  • Echidna Equity reserves the right to adjust the donation amount if excessive setup or exit costs are incurred that would otherwise cause a net loss to Echidna Equity.

4. Loan Commitment

  • By participating in this promotion, clients agree to maintain their loan with the lender for a minimum of two (2) years after receiving the cashback or donation.

  • If the loan is refinanced, discharged, or moved to another lender within this period, Echidna Equity reserves the right to reclaim the cashback or deduct the donation value from any future entitlement.

5. General Conditions

  • This promotion is subject to lender approval and is not guaranteed.

  • Echidna Equity reserves the right to modify, cap, or terminate the cashback/donation promotion at any time without prior notice, particularly in cases where lender or government fees make the transaction commercially unviable.

  • Clients must comply with all lender terms and conditions to remain eligible for this offer.

6. Dispute Resolution

  • Any disputes regarding eligibility, cashback, or donation amounts must be submitted in writing to Echidna Equity within 30 days of loan settlement.

7. Legal Disclaimer

  • This promotion is governed by the laws of Australia.

  • Participation in this promotion constitutes full acceptance of these terms and conditions.
